Stroll around the new city, Ulaanbaatar

It all started as a simple thought a day before to have purposeless stroll around the new city I was in, to utilize an off day. Fortunate enough to meet Duluunaa and Togosoo of UB free walking tour at National Museum on my midday stroll and later was joined by Bastien & his family; and the experience on day went to next level than not just lazily moving around unknown roads and streets.

With them, the walk tour was simple and yet informative. Both the Mongolian girls shared the outline of their nation's history, the impact of China and Russian on them.

As we walked, we stopped at important monuments & statues; and they informed us on the background history & importance, why those monument being there.

It’s that time of the year, when there is lot of travel tips and advisory floating around and lot of travelling actually happening as I jot this note.

Travel tip and me? – Of all the person you know, you should be expecting me to give safe travel tip. Consider, if I write bulleted, the first point being ‘always reach the railway station, bus stand or airport at least 30 minutes before time of departure or check-in, the first comment I would be receiving will be a big «thuu» from anyone who knows my track record.

I try not to preach what I don’t/can’t practice. So this is not post of travel tips rather sharing with you all what travel mean to me, some of things I got to know from it and few things I likes to do.
